Authorising Payments

You'll normally be asked for your PIN when making a payment, unless you’re using contactless to pay for something under £100.

If you don’t want to make a payment, don’t authorise the payment with your PIN.

If you don’t have your PIN, you can sometimes authorise payments using the details on your card.

If you don’t want to authorise the payment, don't enter the details on your card.
